TraceDSA is designed to run in your browser without requiring personal accounts or passwords. We believe educational tools should let you learn immediately without collecting personal details.
2. Information you enter into visualizers
When you type custom arrays, tree nodes, or search targets into a visualizer input field, that data is processed entirely in your web browser's local memory. We do not transmit your input values to our servers, and we do not store them in any remote database.
3. Analytics and site traffic
We collect basic, anonymized website traffic data to see how many people use TraceDSA and which visualizers are most popular. This data includes:
- Pages viewed and referring websites.
- Approximate geographic region (country level).
- Device details like browser type, screen resolution, and operating system.
We do not track individual users across other websites, and we never sell traffic records to advertising networks or data brokers.
4. Local storage and preferences
We use your browser's local storage to remember your visualizer settings, such as your selected color theme and whether you expanded the code editor. This information stays on your device.
5. Third-party services
TraceDSA uses a small number of infrastructure providers to deliver pages:
- Hosting (Vercel / Edge Network): Delivers website files and server-rendered HTML.
- Google Fonts: Loads readable typography (Poppins, JetBrains Mono) directly into your browser.
